Making memories in Traverse City. ☀️ A little fun in the sun with my grandkids in Traverse City, Michigan! We took a ride on a tall ship, enjoyed some ice cream, played miniature golf—and I came up just one stroke short of my granddaughter Zoey. Thankfully, I redeemed myself at Apples to Apples. Making memories, one adventure at a time. ❤️🎢 This summer, our family gathered at the historic Hotel Breakers on the shores of Lake Erie to celebrate my granddaughter's 10th birthday and my daughter-in-law's birthday with a visit to nearby Cedar Point amusement park. My son and grandchildren couldn't wait to ride the biggest roller coasters, while I cheered them on from the ground. As a teenager growing up in Metro Detroit, I visited Cedar Point many times. Bringing three generations together in a place filled with so many of my own memories made the weekend even more meaningful. It's amazing how the places we loved as children can become the backdrop for creating new memories with the people we love most. Moments like these remind me why family is such an important part of my life and why the relationships between grandparents and grandchildren continue to inspire my stories. 🦁 A Wild Day at the Zoo with Louis & Lila 🐒 There are always laughs and surprises when these two are on an adventure. Lila's Top Pick: The monkeys!
